1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Fablable's apps ("the Apps") process when you use them inside Canva, and how that information is handled. The Apps operate as Canva-integrated apps and work alongside Canva's own privacy practices.

2. Information the Apps process

• Text input: the word, phrase, link or other content you type in order to generate or style your result (for example, the text of a QR code).
• Images you choose: the photo you select or upload for retouching, restyling, or filling your text is used to produce your result.
• Your selections: the effect, preset, style, layout, warp shape, font and adjustment options you choose.
• Uploaded assets: uploaded fonts are used only for your current session and are not stored on our servers.
• Generated output: the resulting image or shape, which is placed onto your Canva design.
• Basic technical data: limited information needed to operate the Apps reliably, such as request timestamps and error logs, used only for debugging and service quality.

Some processing happens entirely in your browser — for example, Smart Beauty's face detection runs locally on your device, and photos edited there are not uploaded to our servers for detection.

We do not require you to create a separate account with us — authentication and your identity as a Canva user are handled by Canva itself.

3. How this information is used

• To produce the text effect, warp, or image-filled result you requested and return it to your Canva design.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the reliability and quality of the Apps.
• To diagnose and fix technical issues.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your input to build third-party advertising profiles.

4. Data sharing

Producing a result may involve sending your input to the underlying image-generation or processing service that powers a given App, solely for the purpose of producing your requested output. We do not share your input with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

Requests and outputs are processed to fulfil your request and are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, quality assurance, and abuse prevention, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Session-only uploads such as custom fonts are not retained after your session ends.

6. Your choices

Because the Apps run inside Canva, most account-level controls (such as managing your Canva account or revoking app access) are available through your Canva account settings. For questions specific to data processed by the Apps, contact us at support@fablable.xyz.

7. Children's privacy

The Apps are not directed at children and are not knowingly used to collect information from children in a way that would violate applicable law.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Apps or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
